| Over the last number of seasons Northern Ireland-based
James Lambe has developed an enviable strike rate in Britain where
he has become one of the most frequent and prolific trainers who regularly
take runners across the Irish Sea. |
This season alone has been a remarkable one for Lambe who is firmly
on course to send out double the amount of winners in Britain this
term than he did when notching up 15 successes there during the 2008/09
campaign. Indeed such has been the frequency of his cross channel
raids that the trainer is steadily closing in on the impressive landmark
of having sent out 100 winners in Britain.
Lambe isn’t adverse to success at home either and has shown
himself to be quite capable of playing a role on the major domestic
stage, as evidenced by several notable wins at the Galway Festival
in recent years. |
